The Purchase Guide of Uv Flatbed Printer from The Device Itself

1. Look at the nozzle

a. The nozzle represents the core technology of the uv flatbed printer. The higher the specifications of the nozzles that can be selected, the higher the number of nozzles that can be equipped on the equipment, which proves that the technical level is high. Otherwise, if the salesman sells most of the three g5 nozzles Or two Epson series nozzles are not cost-effective. However, the price of the board purchased in this configuration is low, and it will rarely support the upgrade in the later stage.

 b. Sprinkler specifications, each series of nozzles are divided into low-end, mid-end, high-end, top-level, different models of nozzles, if not professional users, can not remember these names, you can see the price, after all, a penny The goods are unchanged. The expensive nozzles must be better than the cheaper nozzles in terms of core performance. There are no good and cheap uv flatbed printer nozzles.

c. The nozzle is open or not open. Some nozzles on the market are open-type, and the supporting boards are also open. The number of this type of uv flatbed printer company is also very large. After all, the threshold is relatively low. For users, the price may be very cheap. However, the uv flatbed printer company that may be bought is assembled and put together. It does not have the level of R&D technology. If there is a fault in the later stage, it is basically replaced by a new one.

2. Look at the format

a. The overall format, the larger the format, can reflect the hardware design level of this uv flatbed printer company. Although it may not be used by itself, when asked, ask the company salesman whether there is a large or largest How big, compare each other.

b. Print width, this is the core of the format. The wider the width, the higher the cost of the equipment. The faster the printing speed in the same configuration, the higher the hardware level of the manufacturer. When conditions permit, try to choose a large format uv printer.

 c. If the size of the web is smaller, the error in physical precision is smaller, regardless of the cut corner. If the printed material itself is small in volume, the smaller the size of the device, the better the mechanical precision is than the large format.

3. Look at the core accessories

a. Curing lamp: The price of the uv led lamp is higher than that of the mercury lamp, and the lamp type of the lamp type is higher than the lamp type. A good curing light determines that the pattern will dry thoroughly during printing, avoiding peeling and fading. At the same time, the lifespan is also long and the stability is high. Of course, the price of thousands to tens of thousands, hundreds of thousands of sets of curing lights are available.

b. Gantry milling: whether the beam, frame and other components are gantry milling, washed 1 time or 2 times, the difference between the two is often more than 1 times, industrial type uv flatbed printer or large brand printers, core components will be Gantry milling, so precision, stability and other aspects are good.

c. Motor, guide rail, screw and other brands, this can be seen on the direct parts to identify, the quality of the big brand is more guaranteed. If you are all unknown small brands, be cautious, otherwise the late failure rate will be very headache.

Is There A Big Gaps Between Printing Effects of Inkjet Printer's Six Colors and Four Colors?

Is there a big gaps between printing effects of inkjet printer's six colors and four colors? The gap is still there, but it is getting smaller and smaller, and the most critical parameter is the droplet size.

The 6-color ink was originally developed to solve the graininess. The limit perception ability of the human eye to the ink drop is about 0.8~0.9PL, and it is basically no ink point print below 2PL.

The first 6-color photo printer was EPSON Photo700. At that time, the technology was able to achieve 7PL ink droplets. The size of the ink droplets on the photo paper was very strong, so EPSON increased the graininess of the photo. Light cyan and light magenta, the ink concentration is about 30% of the normal concentration, so that the human eye can see the effect similar to 2PL ink drops. The 2PL ink drops, at the time, almost no ink point printing. Therefore, this has become the standard for Epson to divide Photo and C series.

In 2007, EPSON launched the photo printer Photo 20, which is just a 4-color inkjet printer, but since the minimum ink drop reached the 2PL standard, EPSON also classified it as the Photo series. Other models, whether it is the early COLOR/C series, or the mid-term ME series, or the current L series, even if some models can reach 5760*1440dpi, still can not be divided into the Photo series, the biggest reason is Ink drops ≥ 3PL. But in fact, those models of 3PL are not far from 2PL, so the effect of photo printing is already very good, at least the comprehensive image quality has surpassed the level of the first generation Photo700. Therefore, if the graininess of the photo is not particularly harsh, EPSON's four-color machine (3PL ink drops) is now enough for home photo printing.

Then, CANON, CANON just started the same way as EPSON, and increased the light color to reduce the graininess. But this situation ended in the era of IP4200. The reason is that the minimum ink droplets of the IP4200 have reached 1PL, and it is absolutely unnecessary to use light ink. Therefore, after this, Canon also divided all printers with a minimum ink drop of 1PL into photo grades.

Looking at HP again, HP also started the EPSON route. Until the launch of the 818 ink cartridge, this is HP's first ink cartridge that can use double ink drop technology. The smallest 1.5PL ink droplet also announced the end of HP's six-color printer. . Coupled with the shrinking market in the desktop printing industry, HP even cut off all of the Photosmart series of printers, all of which were handed over to the four-color machine.

Comprehensive status quo: The EPSON six-color machine has a minimum of 1.5PL ink drops, plus two light colors. In theory, the human eye can achieve the effect of 0.45PL, which is far less than the naked eye limit, so that the true ink-free output can be achieved. The effect is that only one of all branded wide format inkjet printers can do it. This is one of the reasons why photo printing prefers EPSON.

How to Solve Your Large Format Printer Cannot Printed Clear?

When we use the inkjet printer, is it often the problem that the printer is not clear? Generally, printing is not clear, as long as it is not a printer hardware failure, in fact, as long as the cause is found, it can be solved by yourself. So, what are the reasons why the printer is not clear, how to solve it? Let's take a look at the following small series!
Cause one, the inkjet printer has not been used for a long time.

Solution: The ink is scarce when printing, and the writing is unrecognizable. Most of the failures are caused by long-term use of the printer or other reasons, resulting in obstacles in the ink delivery system or nozzle clogging.

Remedy: If the nozzle is not blocked very well, then directly perform the cleaning operation on the printer. If there is no effect after repeated cleaning, you can take off the ink cartridge (for the printer that is not integrated with the nozzle of the cartridge, you need to take the nozzle. But need to be careful), soak the nozzle in warm water for a while, be careful, do not immerse the circuit board part in the water, otherwise the consequences are unimaginable, use absorbent paper to absorb the water droplets that have been stained, and then clean the nozzle several times after loading. That's it.

Cause two, the printer nozzle into the air

Solution: The printer should test the missing line and the color should be the air in the nozzle. The airbag is formed in the nozzle part so that no ink can be printed. If the cleaning is not solved, the correct method is: first print head cleaning, generally wait for 5-10 minutes in the nozzle check, so repeated 3 times or so should be no problem.

If the above is still not working, use the following method, but be careful: take out the ink cartridge (or supply) in the printer to see 6 black columns (the ink cartridge should be facing the ink outlet when installing the ink cartridge), find the corresponding The yellow column (which color does not look for which color), use a needle tube (without a needle) to insert above the column, as long as the needle tube mouth corresponds to the tapered portion of the column (connecting the nozzle) to ensure the seal, continuous pumping with needle 2-3 Secondary air, to ensure that there is no residual ink in the column, then install the ink cartridge (or even supply) to clean the print head twice, wait 10 minutes after the nozzle check, generally solve the problem immediately, if there is improvement, repeat the method.

Reason 3: the printer nozzle is blocked.

Solution: 1. Prepare 4 or 6 20ML syringes to remove the needle; 2. Make a nozzle check, print a test page to see which color does not ink; 3. Remove the built-in ink cartridge and see if it does not Ink cartridge, there is no air bubble near the nozzle hole, if there is, insert the syringe into the hole of the inkjet hole, and pay attention to insert it. Drain the ink outward and pull out the vent hole. If it can't be pumped out, gently push the ink in and reciprocate several times until there is no air hole. 4. Put the ink cartridge into the printer and clean it once. The test page is basically normal at this time.

Reason 4: Insufficient ink in the printer causes the ink to be light

There are two cases of this situation, one is a single-cartridge printer and the other is a dual-cartridge printer.

Solution: The most fundamental way to solve this problem is to add ink. Remove the ink cartridge and insert the ink bottle with the tip into the ink inlet of the printer cartridge to add ink. Then check the print quality.

The above is the reason why the large format inkjet printer for you to share the unclear printing and the solution, I hope to help you.

How to Store and Keep Your Dye Sublimation Ink with Good Colors?

As we Know that sublimation ink is an important role in digital sublimation printing. Knowing how to store it properly is vital if you want it to last longer and reduce overheads. Furthermore, proper storage of dye sublimation ink also ensures that the product doesn’t lose its properties during storage, which can otherwise affect the print quality.

If you are used to buying dye sublimation ink in bulk, but don’t know how to store them – except the standard: keep your ink products in original packaging–the following information should serve you well…

Store your stock away from sunlight
Most dye sublimation inks are water based. As such, if you store them in sunlight, the heat can cause the water to evaporate, making the ink more viscous. Using thick sublimation inks can damage your printer head nozzles, while the print quality is also likely to get affected.

Moreover, UV energies carried by sunlight can also cause chemical decomposition of the ink material. This can cause ink to fade in color, and you’ll have to get your stock replaced prematurely.

Sublimation inks should always be kept in air tight containers
It’s strongly advised that you keep sublimation inks in air tight containers. If exposed to air, dye sublimation ink can dry, which can make them inappropriate for use.

Furthermore, believe it or not, but exposure to air can also cause certain bacteria to grow in your dye sublimation ink. These bacteria can naturally degrade the ink material.

It’s a good idea to retain original packaging and using it when storing your dye sublimation ink, but if you have mistakenly discarded it, you can store the ink in air tight plastic bottles. These bottles are easily available at local stores.

Keep the batches separate—don’t mix them!
Often to save space, some people mix old sublimation ink (of course, of same color) with a new batch and store them in the same bottle. This practice must be avoided.

Firstly because, the old ink may be nearing its expiration date and as such mixing it with a new ink batch can reduce the product’s shelf life.

Secondly, if an old batch is contaminated with air bubbles or bacteria, mixing it with the new batch of ink can also contaminate the other product.

Exercise proper storage of dye sublimation ink – it would allow you to use them for longer, while maintaining high quality prints.

Is That Dye Ink Same with Dye Sublimation Ink?

What is sublimation transfer? Sublimation transfer is a new way to print patterns on a variety of materials, especially for making a small variety of personalized and custom-made products, as well as printing patterns containing full-color images or photos. The principle is that the digital pattern is printed on the special printing paper by the special dye sublimation ink through the printer, and then the special transfer machine is used to accurately transfer the pattern to the surface of the product at high temperature and high pressure to complete the printing of the product.

Dye and sublimation inks are commonly used in inkjet printing. Contrary to what many people believe, there’s a great difference between the two inks.

Here is a look at the main features of dye and sublimation inks:

 Dye Ink
Before we get to the advantage and disadvantages of using dye ink, it’s important to talk about what dye ink actually is.

Dye ink is the standard ink used in inkjet printers. It is made from water and colorant. The colorant gives the ink ‘color.’

Pros and cons
Dye inks typically come in a variety of colors, which makes them suitable for decorative or artistic use. The ink can easily stick to textile fabrics, print paper or any other appropriate medium.

Due to its small molecular size (1.5–4 nanometers), dye ink can produce vibrant colors. Another advantage of using dye ink is that it’s more economical than other inks, such as pigment ink.

On the other hand, the biggest downside of dye ink is that water or excessive heat can ruin the quality of printed products. When you are using dye inks for printing, be very careful that the final product does not come into contact with water. A few drops of water can make the ink flow across the paper.

When should you use it
Dye ink is a good option if you need to print documents and photographs. It is much more economical than pigment ink.

Dye Sublimation Ink
Dye sublimation ink is a dye that is printed onto specific items, such as t-shirts, mugs, plaques, coasters, and more, via heat and pressure. Heat and pressure help convert the dye into a gas state, without turning into liquid.

Pros and cons
Dye sublimation ink is high quality, water-proof ink. The ink does not smudge because of high temperature. In addition, dye sublimation ink lasts longer than other inks.

As the imprints are dye-based rather than ink-based, the dye becomes part of the product. Dye sublimation ink has greater print accuracy and performance and delivers stunning results. Sublimated products will not crack, peel off or wash off.

Sublimation ink is used for textile printing or personalized or promotional items. However, the ink can be used on specific materials, such as polyester and polyester-coated substrates. Other materials like cotton will not withstand the heat during printing.

When should you use it
Dye sublimation is the perfect ink for transferring graphics onto pre-coated ceramics, metals, plastic or polyester t-shirt printing. Interested in buying premium quality dye sublimation ink? Look no further.
